Finding out your child has a medical condition before he/she is born is devastating to hear, especially when the prognosis is poor. Beautifully Scarred was written to explain how the journey of caring for a child with many medical challenges has changed the course of our family’s life and also restored our faith. Written from my perspective as a mother, I know firsthand how our daughter Kendall’s many hospitalizations, surgeries and procedures impacted the entire family.
